Crazy busy, not much time to blog!

Mackenzie finished the shooting of Deadtime Stories and it was a huge success and loads of fun. It was a project she was really happy to be apart of. Since the summer, she has started school and has been auditioning like crazy. She is also gearing up to begin the 2011-12 Gymnastics Competition Season. So, she is training hard academically, creatively and athletically. Her film, God Bless America was screened at the Toronto Film Festival this month and received great reviews. The film was purchased by Magnolia Pictures and will be released theatrically and for VOD next year! Deadtime Stories will also be released early next year. We can't wait to see the final products!!!

Deadtime Stories is beginning!

Very excited to report that after two delays Deadtime Stories: Grave Secrets is in pre-production mode! Mackenzie booked the role of "Anna" who is a child ghost. The cast is really amazing and she is very excited to begin shooting in a few weeks.  The film is based off the book series that came out in the mid-1990's. The script is really amazing and Mackenzie can't wait to start her 'haunting' after a much deserved vacation!!

God Bless America

Mackenzie was thrilled to book the role of AVA in Bobcat Goldthwait's newest theatrical endeavor....God Bless America. Shooting begins the last week in April and she is very excited to begin work. It's been a slow start this Spring, so this was a nice surprise. After a push on the original start date, Mackenzie will finally begin working on the film, Deadtime Stories in July. Yeah!

2011 is off to a great start!

The first booking of the new year is a reprisal of Mackenzie's portrayal of 'Megan' on THE MIDDLE! Mackenzie was asked to return to play Megan on the Valentine's Week Episode, titled, "Valentines Day II". She was very excited about the booking and of course, all the great auditions she is involved in already!
