Crazy busy, not much time to blog!

Mackenzie finished the shooting of Deadtime Stories and it was a huge success and loads of fun. It was a project she was really happy to be apart of. Since the summer, she has started school and has been auditioning like crazy. She is also gearing up to begin the 2011-12 Gymnastics Competition Season. So, she is training hard academically, creatively and athletically. Her film, God Bless America was screened at the Toronto Film Festival this month and received great reviews. Deadtime Stories is beginning!

Very excited to report that after two delays Deadtime Stories: Grave Secrets is in pre-production mode! Mackenzie booked the role of "Anna" who is a child ghost. The cast is really amazing and she is very excited to begin shooting in a few weeks.  The film is based off the book series that came out in the mid-1990's. The script is really amazing and Mackenzie can't wait to start her 'haunting' after a much deserved vacation!!

Lots of Exciting things in the works!

Besides the upcoming holidays, Mackenzie has tons to be excited about. She is currently shooting an episode of the new NBC Sitcom, MAD LOVE, starring Sarah Chalke, Judy Greer and Jason Biggs. It's a great cast and crew to be involved in. Mackenzie will be playing the role of "Young Connie" which is a younger version of Judy Greer's character. She also booked the role of "Ella" in a short film, titled "Finding Hope". Her older sister is being played by Molly Quinn (Castle) and includes other amazing cast such as Darby Stanchfield (Mad Men), Andy Mackenzie (True Blood) and several others! This film is a sequel to 2008's "Sacrifice".
And if that wasn't enough good news, Mackenzie booked a commercial for PUBLIX Grocery Stores.
It's been a busy month despite the holiday breaks. Thanks for the great wishes, support and general 'break legs!'
